Arosa and Mevoleen bird netting
AMEVO supplies different varieties of bird netting. The green/black Arosa bird netting are manufactured in a way which prevents birds from getting stuck in the netting. They are very durable and weather resistant. This netting can also be used as an anti-leaf protection for a pond.
Furthermore there is Mevoleen bird netting, which is available in 3 different types. The one type we have in stock is the dark green Mevoleen 105 bird netting. Besides this type, there is the very strong black Mevoleen bird netting, which can be tailor made. This can be done up to 20.000 m², it can also be fitted with a ridge line. The third Mevoleen bird netting has a blue colour. The colour blue is better seen by birds than the black, or dark green bird netting. The black and blue bird netting is available on order.
Tip: Prior to use, the netting is to be stretched out; firstly in width direction and subsequently in length direction. If you do this the other way round, you will not get the netting to the right width.
The last type of bird netting is the Mevolon pigeon netting. A netting with a smaller mesh size, specially designed to protect against pigeons.
Mevolon mole barriers
There are two types of mole barriers available. The first one is the chicken/mole barrier. This is a polypropylene barrier with squared meshes. It’s also excellent to use to keep chickens or other poultry in, it can also be used to guide bulb- or cut flowers.
Second there is Mevolon mole barrier, a very strong, yet flexible polyethylene mesh with strengthened sides.
Tip: Put 5-10 cm soil on the mesh and dig the sides vertically in.
Mevolon insect protection netting
The polyethylene Mevolon insect protection nettings can be used as insect protection in for e.g. vegetable and cut flower cultivation. They can be tailor made to large lengths and widths. Also complete insect protection gages can be tailor made with the help of AMEVO. We also supply the required steel tubing and steel couplings.
