How to create a tunnel by using spring steel tunnel rods?

Small tunnels are a quick an easy solution when for example young saplings that are kept outdoors need protection or you want to speed up the development of the plants. This is all very easy by using spring steel tunnel rods. Place the rods approx. 1 to 2 meters apart. Stretch the foil over the rods. Our Mevolux E.V.A. tunnelling foil is perfect for that. Tie the foil together at the backend and frontend of the tunnel and fasten it with nylon cord to a small pole. Place a second set of rods over the foil, in between the already placed ones. By doing this you will get the right amount of tension on the foil. The spring steel tunnel rods are easily bend to the right width of the plant beds. They are easily bend back in their original straight position. By doing so, they do not take up much space when placed in storage. They are available in 2 sizes, suited for planting bed widths of 140 to 160 cm and 160 to 180 cm.
