Thermodisc Ø 16 cm
The Thermodisc is a brown disc that is biologically degradable and weighs 375 g/m2 and has a thickness of approximately 3 mm. The Thermodisc is sterile and consists for 90% of recycled vegetable fibres and for 10% of molten synthetic fibres that bind it all and form a barrier against the weeds. The Thermodisc can be used up to 18 months on end. It limits the use of herbicides; it passes water and reduces the evaporation and therefore water consumption. When placing the disc, it should fit nicely inside the container.

For an optimum result, the disc is to be wetted first in a bucket of water that has a wetting agent (e.g. Agral) added to it. This will give an optimum spread of the water throughout the disc, make the disc more supple and heavy giving a better fit.
