Placard frames and materials

All of our placard frames, T-pieces and base plates are made of high grade Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS); a synthetic material that is break proof and has a high UV-resistance. The easy exchangeability of the placard frames and the various possible combinations of attachment elements give an unprecedented number of options. The slid-in opening is fitted on the narrow side as a standard.

Standard or plus size frames?

Thera are two type of placard frames: the standard frames and the plus size frames. But what is the actual difference between them?

The standard frames have a DIN A5, A4, or A3 size, which means they have an exact paper size. These placard frames have rounded edges. Only the 80 or 125 µ laminating pouches fit in these frames. Or you could use the black writing slates which can be written on by using crayon markers or chalk.

The plus size frames are eminently useful in spaces with a high humidity, like greenhouses. That means all spaces where laminated sheets are necessary. These frames are just slightly wider to accommodate laminated sheets. Plus sizes placard frames have straight edges. Only the 100 µ laminating pouches fit in the plus size placard frames.

Accessories

To fully accommodate your presentation you will need some accessories. You can choose between different types of stand tubes and base plates. The frame is attached to the stand tube by using a T-frame.

Tip: The extendable chromed stand tube cannot be used in humid conditions.

We also supply clips to attach the frame to a tube, or suspension hooks to suspend the frame on a wire.
