Non-woven geotextile has a weight of approx. 120 g/m² and is perfectly suitable for use under artificial lawns, but is also used as ground stabilization in the construction of sport fields, parking lots, roads, pathways, etc. It can also be used as a separations of materials and soil layers. Due to the higher permeability and because it does not fray, this material is increasingly used as a groundcover, but is has a very limited UV-stability.
