BIO-binding tube has the same elasticity, strength and durability as traditional PVC binding tubes. The big difference is that it starts to degrade as soon as it comes in contact with the soil. It does not degrade in normal and humid conditions. The degradation process only starts when it comes in contact with the soil. So no plastics are left behind. BIO-binding tube is unique because of its soft material.
BIO-binding tube is made out of thermoplastic bioplastics (TPE-E). As already mentioned, it does not degrade in normal and humid conditions. As soon as it comes in contact with soil it is completely degraded within 6 months, in compliance with European standard EN13432 and EN14995.
